I am currently co-teaching Spatial Humanities (HURC 432) with my colleague in History, Dr. Ademide Adelusi-Adeluyi.
I have designed and taught a variety of university courses. Please click here to view an introductory-level syllabus for the University of Texas, and here to view a description of an upper-level course that I designed for Rice University.
As an archaeologist, one of the duties that brings me the most joy is a less formal mode of teaching: presenting my in-progress excavations to local students and the public. Below, I explain my findings to a group of elementary school children on a tour organized by the social anthropologist Marco Antonio Pérez.
